Community-focused sustainable development model and an independent regulator could help Government reset its relationship with New Brunswickers
As we stated in our Opening Perspective, we recognize that there is anger, frustration and a strong sense of weariness on all sides, and our goal is to engage New Brunswickers in a conversation about our shared energy future in an open and respectful way.
We remain committed to that goal as we begin our final deliberations.
You moved us – with your stories, with your evidence and with your ideas for the future of resource development in New Brunswick.
The three of us have met with individuals and groups throughout New Brunswick, listening to their concerns and questions and I noted on numerous occasions the similarities between the issues raised both here and in Pennsylvania – and the willingness most people expressed to have this conversation.
All formal submissions from fellow citizens and other stakeholder groups can be found here.
